We had the ancient way of storing food.The popular way was to "slice" meat and put more salt and hang it out on the nearby tree or any H structure supported by poles facing the scorching sun.When the night approaches you put it in a special room (empty hut)
In the following morning the meat will be taken out again to the scorching sun repeatedly until it becomes "dry".The Forte is build for Maize and other grain.
This is called Food Reserves.There were no preserves or chemicals which were inserted.Some countries extended to vegetables and fruits.
Once the food starts to dry up,the flies and other insects disappear. What lessons do we learn?
