Bhaca Life 1

This small tribe is found in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.There are lessons which you and me can learn:

1.Strong family Foundation                                Great Economic  Achievers have strong        family  Foundation.This what  the Bhacas have achieved.By the strong  family  Foundation,I mean the Head of the Family gives a clear guidance in the family  with  the aim of uniting  the family.        

2.Respect anyone.                                                This tribe has the unwritten  Law that anyone who is young or old should  respect any human being.It is  believed  that it shall  bring a prosperity  now and future.

3.Respect the Land.                                             Unaware that the Bhacas are fighting the effects of Climate by not burning grass as well selective zigzag footpath in order  lessened the soil erosion.

4.Education.                                                            Unfortunately this tribe was starved educationally.They had mud schools for many years.Most People  who succeeded to have education are lawyers.

5.Religion.                                                               Most of the tribe believe in ancestry.             Christianity has started to dominate.

YP: Good day mnt'omdala (old man) 0M: Good day cikicane (figuratively from small finger) YP:Tell me,what has made you live up to this age? OM: I respected my culture. YP:  Which culture?
