Life in KwaBhaca

When I checked the state of this blog,  some interesting  facts emerged. The blog was visited by the minority  populations around  the world. In the past posts  I wrote about  this tribe, how did they survived under extremely  hard conditions  of  which all of us could learn. They did have the word Poverty in their vocabulary.
They survived  in Eastern Cape  bordered by KZN Province. They had one big river which is diminishing and is called: Mzimvubu River and Mzimvubu means Mzi= House  Mvubu =hippopotamus.

Up to now, there  is a debate whether to draw water  to the villages nearby or not.
Otherwise, using Water can lorries and vans.Water is freely available  or those  want to more water had to pay  more.90% of this Community  are not working,no skill education  but they are practising farming taught by their  forefathers.

However there are skills which  are taught from generation  to generation.
1.Harvesting  corns and storage.
2.Cultivating the land.
3.How to  keep stock farming.
4.How to preserve  the stocks for future.
5.Selling the corns to Mt.Frere.(KwaBhaca)
6.Driving a lorry and a car.
7.Self defense  using hard sticks.
8.Maintaining  and building  your own homestead.

Briefly, this means we must not only rely on the formal education.Pass your skill  to your generation.Family Unity may be the strength  or curse. In the  post I shall discuss  how  does Bhaca Prople build their  Family  Institutions

Money is not everything

With Bhacas money is not everything in contrast to the rest of us, there are those who worship mooney.Too much adhering to money brings the following:: -stress -inferior complex -lies -useless anxiety -syndrome of hatred -Not taking  care of other People How do the Bhacas alleviate from stress? 1.The Bhacas don't think too much  about money instead they are concern about health. They support their  health through vegetables, milk. 2.Inferior complex To avoid inferior complex does not need lot of money or always think about money. Acceptance  of other people does not diminish anyone. Lies Lies are the greatest destroyer of any family. Money is the greatest "fertilizer"  of lies and misrepresentation of facts. The Bhacas believe in -openness -honesty -solving the problem  -sharing the ideas. So, there's no room of lies, dishonesty or any similar action. Useless anxiety  Money may bring useless anxiety. It can bring  owning or disowning People. It can...
